Our community also has two municipal parks: South Shore Park, which features a sledding hill, picnic area and fitness trail, and Coontz Park with eight lighted baseball fields.

Other recreational activities in Oregon include the annual German American Festival at Oak Shade Grove, which draws in more than a quarter million people from all over northwest Ohio, and OregonFest, a community event that draws over 10,000 people each year. Our older residents also enjoy socialization and recreation activities at the Oregon Senior Center.

Our proximity to the City of Toledo allows our residents convenient access to a world class museum, a top-ranked zoo, and a minor league baseball park, as well as a theatre stage and concert hall. We’re also just a short drive from Cedar Point Amusement Park, and only an hour away from Detroit’s concert venues and sporting events.
